How to start using Phone Number Management Dashboard

Detailed below is an example of a Phone Number Management configuration workflow.

1.  Navigate to Phone Number Management dashboard.

2.  Select Configurations tab from the left-hand pane to open the sub-tabs to configure the Phone Number Management Environment.

a.  Select Countries to navigate to the Countries page.

i. Update the country properties with country phone code and ISO code.

b.  Select Providers to navigate to the Providers page to display a list of providers. A pre-defined list is available, if necessary, additional providers can be added.

c.  Select Circuits to navigate to the Circuits page, where associated circuits can be added to providers, circuits can be imported using the Import Circuits Bulk Action.

d.  Select Endpoint Types to navigate to the Endpoint Types page to display a list of available endpoint types with associated vendors/platforms. If necessary additional endpoint types can be added.

3.  After configuring the Phone Number Management environment, create phone number ranges and assign phone number allocations:

-     Add the phone number ranges using either of the following methods:

i.   Import a CSV file containing the phone number ranges using the Bulk Action tab.

ii.   Add new Phone Number Ranges in the Phone Number Ranges page.

-     Add Phone Number Allocations:

i.   Import a CSV file containing the Phone Number Allocations using the Bulk Action tab.

ii.   Let the Skype for Business or Teams synchronization jobs create Phone Number Allocations automatically

-     Allocate phone numbers in the Phone Numbers page.

NOTE:

If your organization already uses PowerSuite, and the PowerSuite Agent is configured, all available assignments from Skype for Business servers will be imported in PowerSuite and the correct allocations will be created.  The Unsynchronized Numbers Reports page will show the phone numbers assignments that could not be correctly created in PowerSuite, allowing you to configure phone number ranges more precisely. After the phone number ranges are configured, on the next scheduled run they would be automatically assigned.

In order to obtain the same functionality for Teams, it is necessary to install the Teams DID Agent, which will synchronize phone numbers from Teams.
