Import Phone Number Ranges

 

The import bulk action creates a batch job that runs in the background of PowerSuite. The job runs through each line of the imported CSV file, and if the data is correct and there is no overlap with currently used phone number ranges in PowerSuite Phone Number Management, it creates new phone number ranges appropriately and populates phone numbers associated to the phone number ranges.

 

As a result of the bulk action, PowerSuite displays if the import was successful and if any errors occurred, a CSV file with the error and the CSV line it appeared on is available for download, so you can view the issue. Once you have corrected the CSV file error you can try to import the remaining file again.

 

To import phone number ranges:

 

1.  Select Bulk Actions tab in left hand pane.

 

2.  Select the Import Number Ranges subtab.

 

3.  Select Browse.

 

4.  Select File.

 

5.  Select Import.

 

 

NOTE:

The CSV file format that is to be uploaded is detailed in the Imports Phone Number Ranges page.

 

The Import Phone Number Ranges page provides you with a CSV file format template that you can download by clicking on the Template CSV file.

 

Once the file is imported, PowerSuite provides a summary of the import and whether it was successful.

 

To download the CSV file that contains errors:

 

1.  Select the Import history row you wish to view the import summary for.

 

You will be navigated to the Phone Number Range Import Summary.

 

2.  Select the Download and Fix Remaining Phone Number Ranges to download the file to view the errors.

 

 Fix the errors in the original CSV file and import the CSV file with the fixed errors again.
