Enables the user for Lync, and ensures that the user is in one of the listed pools. It also verifies that the user’s SIP address is following a specific format. The SIP address is generated and the user is provisioned on one of the listed pools.
The Enable Lync Action may be used to:
– Enable Lync or Skype for Business for new users.
– Update Lync or Skype for Business users who have moved to a different location by rehoming users to servers. Example: A user moves from Texas to London. Using Enable Lync, the user’s Lync or Skype for Business client will be rehomed from the Texas server to the London server.
To enable an account for Lync or Skype for Business, the following information is required:
