Provisioning Solutions’ Rules are used to store and manage an organization's requirements for Lync or Skype for Business user settings. The Rules are the directives that would be provided to a Lync or Skype for Business Operations Team, specifying which user requires which settings. Provisioning Solutions provides a configurable set of rules and compliance restrictions, which are enforced by Provisioning Solutions.
The system provides the ability to assign privileges or policies based on user attributes stored in Active Directory. The Provisioning Solutions Rules Engine is typically setup to run periodically and apply the current set of rules.
