Workflows

Workflows specify a series of actions to be taken automatically when a policy is violated on the issue identified. A single workflow may be associated with multiple policies. To assign a workflow to a policy, go to Manage Policies and create or edit the appropriate policy, selecting the desired workflow on the Policy Definition page.

 

Sample workflow:                                                                                      

1.  Inform: Send a Detailed Issue email to owners of the team with the compliance issue

 

2.  Wait: Wait 7 days before escalation (if the issue is resolved within this timeframe, the workflow is automatically terminated)

 

3.  Inform: If the issue persists, send a Detailed Issue email to the designated Information Security Engineer
