Property Comparison Rule Conditions

Comparing property string values is the most common method for Rule Conditions. It is possible to compare values of single string property attributes in Active Directory by specifying the attribute name and attribute value. Non-string attributes including numbers or Boolean values ("true", "false") will be converted to strings and can therefore also be used. The comparison type contains the following settings:

-     Ignore Case (optional)

Check Ignore Case, to specify letter cases are ignored when comparing strings. If omitted, the default value of not ignoring the case is used.

-     Matching (optional)

Defines whether the full or partial string must match. If omitted, the default value is used. The following options are available:

     Exact match (default)

     Match prefix

     Match suffix

-     String

Contains the string that the match is conducted against.

NOTE:

Active Directory attributes that are to be used in Rules must be configured to be imported into the local Provisioning Solutions User Cache.
