Match Prefix Comparison

The Provisioning Solutions Match Prefix Rule Conditions enable the beginnings of string values to be used for comparison.

To ignore the case of the match select Ignore Case.

Example 1:

If the prefix “Director” is used on the Active Directory attribute “title”, the Rule can be applied to all users who are Directors, provided the naming schema is consistent.

If prefix “V- “is used on the Active Directory attribute “samAccount Name”, then the Rule can be applied only to vendor accounts that are marked with “V-<account name> “.

Example 2:

The Active Directory attribute "postalCode" against value "82" using a Match prefix comparison. The Condition will match "postalCode" values "8274" or "822101", but not will not match "8322".
