Phone Number and Allocation Lifecycle

The Phone Numbers are created automatically when a Phone Number Range is created, after a short time Phone Numbers are initialized and become Available.

When Allocations are added to the Phone Number, the Phone Number changes to a Used State. The Phone Number remains Used until the last Allocation is removed. The Allocations can be removed by:

-     The system expires it (Reservations and Tombstones only)

-     A user deletes Reservations and Tombstones manually.

-     Phone Numbers are deleted automatically when their range is deleted, however Phone Number Ranges may only be deleted when all the Phone Numbers are unused.

Reservations and Tombstones expire automatically after the customized set time, ensuring that Phone Numbers which are not used do not remain blocked forever. Assignments cannot be deleted directly, instead they are revoked and become Tombstones, ensuring that Phone Numbers are not recycled, and provided to different users or devices automatically immediately.
