Classification Rules may be used to apply custom classification of Phone Numbers.
The Rules consist of:
- Country filter (optional)
o The Classification Rule applies only to Phone Numbers in this Country.
- Site filter (optional)
o The Classification Rule applies only to Phone Numbers in this Site.
- Regular Expression (mandatory)
o The expression is matched against the extension part of phone numbers.
- Number Class (mandatory)
o The classification is applied to matching phone numbers
Classification Rules are ordered, and applied top-down. The processing of the Rules is terminated once the first match has occurred. Therefore the first matching Rule wins.
