Software Required

Standard Solutions

-        Windows 2012, 2012 R2 or 2016 with the latest service pack installed.

-          Microsoft Lync Server 2013, Skype for Business Server 2015 or Skype for Business Server 2019 Administrative tools feature installed, or Windows Sever 2016 with Skype for Business Server administrative tools with latest updates installed.

NOTE:

Lync Server 2013 administrative tools installed on Windows Server 2016 are not supported.

-        Access to the internet from the server where the PowerSuite Agent will be installed.

-        PowerSuite supports the following versions of the Lync and Skype for Business solutions:

o    Lync 2013

o    Skype for Business 2015

o    Skype for Business 2019

Enterprise Solutions

All prerequisites of Standard Solutions with the addition of Microsoft’s Skype for Business SDN Interface 3.0 Microsoft SDN Manager.

Enterprise Pro/Premium Solutions

All prerequisites of Enterprise Solutions with the addition on a separate Server #2 of:

-        Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition with IIS role and MSMQ service.

o    The following components of IIS role are necessary for Provisioning Solutions:

•          Windows Authentication

•          .NET Extensibility 4.5

•          ASP.NET 4.5

•          WebSocket Protocol

•          IIS Management Console

o     For MSMQ, all of the features and components must be installed. PowerSuite uses the MSMQ service for the notifications to system administrators and end users.

IMPORTANT:

Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) must not be installed. Installing WebDAV will cause failures in the updating of configuration files for Provisioning Solutions.

-        Elasticsearch 1.7.5 x 64

o     Elasticsearch is the search/document storage system that Provisioning is built upon. Elasticsearch is available from https://www.elastic.co/downloads/elasticsearch.

IMPORTANT:

Ensure the 1.7.5 version of Elasticsearch is used.

-        SQL: One of the following SQL versions is required for PowerSuite Premium Plus:

o          Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition Enterprise Edition SQL Express 2012

o          SQL Server 2012

o          SQL Express 2014

o          SQL Server 2014
