The Import Bulk Action creates a batch job that runs in the background of PowerSuite. The job runs through each line of the imported CSV file, and if the data is correct and there is no overlap with currently used circuits in PowerSuite Phone Number Management, it creates new circuits appropriately.
As a result of the bulk action, PowerSuite displays if the import was successful and if any errors occurred. A CSV file with the error and the CSV line it appeared on is available for download, so you can view the issue. Once you have corrected the CSV file error import the remaining file again.
To import Circuits:
1. Select Bulk Actions tab in left hand pane.
2. Select the Import Circuits subtab.
3. Select Browse.
4. Select the file to import.
5. Select Import
NOTE:
The CSV file format that is to be uploaded is detailed in the Imports Circuits page.
The Import Circuits page provides you with a CSV file format template that you can download by clicking on the Template CSV file.
Once the file is imported PowerSuite provides a summary of the import and whether it was successful. To download the CSV file that contains errors, if the import contained errors a CSV file of the errors
1. Select the Import History row to view the import summary.
You will be navigated to the Circuits Import Summary.
2. Select Download and Fix Remaining Circuits to download the file to view the errors.
3. Fix the errors in the original CSV file and import the CSV file with the fixed errors again.
