NOTE:
The Geography filter is disabled for Microsoft Teams data and only available to filter Skype for Business data
The Geography filter is applied to calls using the following methods:
1. Based on site location of user:
When the geography filter is selected, PowerSuite associates a user to a particular site. This association is based on the location of the majority of the user’s calls. Once the user is associated to a particular site, all of the user’s calls when the geography filter is applied will be associated to the user’s associated site, including calls made outside of the network.
2. Based on site location of the organizer:
When the geography filter is selected, PowerSuite associates the organizer to a particular site.
The following logic is used for the metrics displayed in the Executive dashboard when calls are filtered using the geography filter:

Based on site location of the participant PSTN calls and Federated calls count towards the organizer. |
NOTE:
The Active Users count is a metric that is not designed to be simply aggregated. PowerSuite counts the Active User only once, irrelevant of where the calls are made from, whether the user makes calls from one site or five sites. This ensures greater accuracy in the Active User count for your organization.
Example:
User X makes calls from Site A and Site B, the Active User count will be counted towards the Active User count for both Site A and Site B. If the calls were aggregated a greater number of users than user X would be counted and therefore the actual total number of Active Users overall in the company would be, as the same Active user is making a call from both sites.
