The Search page enables you to search for devices, which are known to PowerSuite Device Management. The devices will be known by PowerSuite Device Management, if they have been previously connected to the PowerSuite Agent Provisioning Service. The devices are searched for using either their IP or MAC Address.
The MAC Address search will provide an individual result owing to the fact that MAC Addresses are unique for each device. However, an IP address search, may return multiple results, as a device will not have a unique IP address. If a search returns only a single result then you will be navigated directly to the Details page for that individual device.
To Search for a Device:
1. Select Device Search from Device Management home page selection menu.
2. Enter the Mac Address or the IP Address of the device you wish to search.
