The following explains the relationship between Settings, Feature Configurations, Scopes and Devices:
- Settings are assigned to Feature Configurations. Feature Configurations contain one or more settings. These settings are assigned to the Feature Configuration using the Feature Configuration Wizard.
- Once the Feature Configuration has been created using the Feature Configuration Wizard, it is ready to be applied to a scope.
- Once the Feature Configuration has been applied to the scope, the next time the devices within the scope connect to the Listen Address, the Feature Configuration’s settings will be sent to the device to update the device.
