Reports

PowerSuite sends:

-     Monthly reports providing monthly information.

-     Weekly reports providing weekly information.

The reports sent weekly and monthly provide summaries of service levels and statistics. Reports are a valuable mechanism to provide:

-     Insights into the overall service availability.

-     Insights into the associated trends over time.

-     Ability to identify larger problem areas that continue to have large impacts.

-     The key goal of each PowerSuite Monitoring Solution report is to provide the following information:

The service availability (for example, 99.95%) and the number of outages as seen by an independent service for the required time period in question (for example, month, year etc.).

The comparison of the period in question’s availability and outages compared to a prior period. Ideally the report shows improvements in the overall availability of your organization’s infrastructure.

The breakdown by day or hour when outages have occurred and the associated service availability at that time. Example:  The overall monthly service availability is 99.95% but the reports show there are frequent spikes of lower availability on particular days. This would indicate a frequent recurring issue.

What are the key problem hotspots that require further investigation across a matrix of multiple scenarios, over an extended period of time? Example: Did multiple scenarios fail at the same time, or did a single scenario repeatedly fail over the period?

What was the complete list of failures that have occurred and their associated details for the period in question?

The information provided in the PowerSuite Monitoring Solution reports enables the service availability to be measured and key analysis to be performed, to ensure that decisions can be made that are based on precise accurate data.
