PowerSuite Synthetic Transactions Configuration

PowerSuite Synthetic Transactions are calls made by PowerSuite’s Service Availability Monitoring Solution. By default, the call data displayed in the Usage and Adoption and Executive Dashboards includes PowerSuite synthetic transactions. The Configuration Dashboard enables you to set the filter to exclude these calls from the data displayed using the PowerSuite Synthetic Transactions Filter.

Using this filter enables you to track the adoption trends of your Skype for Business environment, and to closely track user activity. When the PowerSuite Transactions filter is enabled, PowerSuite synthetic transactions generated by automated services are filtered out from the data displayed.

NOTE:

The PowerSuite Synthetic Transactions filter cannot be applied to historical data prior to May 2017, the date the feature was introduced.

To filter PowerSuite synthetic transactions from the metrics displayed in the Usage and Adoption and Executive Dashboards:

1.  Select Visuals from the left-hand navigation pane.

2.  Deselect the Include PowerSuite Synthetic Transactions in call metrics check box.

3.  Select Save.

The PowerSuite synthetic transactions will now be filtered from the metrics displayed in the Usage and Adoption and Executive Dashboards.

NOTE:

Changing the PowerSuite Synthetic Transactions filter will take effect immediately on the metrics displayed in the Usage and Adoption and Executive Dashboards.
